About Alexa
I have been passionate about music for as long as I can remember. I started writing songs and playing the guitar when I was just 14 years old, which led me to a career in music therapy. By day, I work with adolescents with autism, severe trauma, abuse, and neglect, helping them navigate how to use music as a coping skill. When I’m not practicing music therapy, you can find me playing music or hanging out with my dog, Iggy. In 2014, I was honored to win Breck’s Got Talent, an annual competition hosted in Breckenridge, Colorado during Ullr Fest. Music always has and will have a place in my life!
